Vacancies: Join the LCRDM Sounding Board! (2 positions)
Would you like to help shape the future of research data management in the Netherlands? Do you have a broad perspective that extends beyond the walls of your own institution? The National Coordination Point Research Data Management (LCRDM) is looking for two enthusiastic members to join our Sounding Board.
What will you be doing?
As a member of the Sounding Board, you will advise LCRDM on both short-term and long-term strategies. Your expertise and practical experience will be invaluable in bringing relevant topics to the forefront of the LCRDM network. Together with the other board members, you will focus on areas such as:
- Nurturing relationships and synergy with other communities and networks.
- Providing input and feedback on themes and partnerships for our networking days.
- Suggesting and shaping topics for future task groups.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for forward-thinking professionals who can look beyond the boundaries of their own organisation. You possess a solid understanding of Research Data Management (RDM), combined with expertise in one (or more) of the following fields:
- Large-scale infrastructures for Research IT
- Research Software Management
- Data Science and AI
- Developments within Universities of Applied Sciences
- International developments (e.g., EOSC)
Time Commitment
Being a member of the Sounding Board requires a modest time investment but offers a significant impact. On an annual basis, we ask for:
- 3 online meetings (maximum of 3 hours per meeting, including preparation time)
- 1 in-person meeting (half a day)
