The National Coordination Point Research Data Management (LCRDM) is a national network of experts in the field of research data management (RDM). The LCRDM forms the link between policy and solution. Buddy Programme: From monthly check-ins to a valuable collaboration

Hi, we are Helena Wedig and Efe Sözeri.
Helena works as the Research Software and Interoperability Training Lead at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), and Efe works as a Software Steward at the University of Twente. While our roles might not be the same, we are both part of our local Digital Competence Centers (DCCs), we raise awareness about interoperability, and we provide research software training and support.

Content-wise, this seemed like a great match right from the beginning! However, the past year showed us that our collaboration goes beyond content. We shared our struggles, celebrated successes, and discussed new challenges, but also did not forget to check in with each other and make sure that we both felt heard and seen.
