Maastricht puts open science in the spotlight
The Open Science Festival, held on October 22, 2024, in Maastricht, was an inspiring gathering of over 350 researchers, educators, students, and policymakers committed to advancing open science.
Highlights of the event were:
- A plenary opening, featuring Faces of Open Science
- Over 40 parallel sessions, consisting of workshops and discussions
- An info market with 12 stands and networking opportunities in between the sessions
- A closing session with an engaging panel discussion and the award ceremony for the first Leo Waaijers Open Science Award
Edition 2025 to be held in Groningen
